I was blown away by the cleanliness of the bathrooms and kitchen, they were spotless! The location of this place is incredible, with a cozy bar right next door and a mall just a short walk away. The food court at the mall had amazing and affordable options. The hostel is conveniently located near the metro and bus stations, as well as mini grocery stores. The decor in the hostel is quirky and has a cool hipster vibe. The check-in staff may not have spoken perfect English, but they were incredibly sweet and helpful. The hostel was not crowded during my stay in February, and I couldn't believe that we got to stay for 3 nights for just 15 euros - what a bargain! The hostel itself is spacious and well-maintained, although the sofas in the common room could use a little vacuuming. for the price we paid, this accommodation was perfect. The showers were always available with minimal wait time, and the rooms were clean with no unpleasant smells. The chandelier ventilator was a nice touch, especially during the hotter days. There were plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from, but it was also great to have access to a shared kitchen. The location of the hostel is definitely a major highlight.

I chose Westend for its convenient location near Heroes' Square, a place I wanted to visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the option of check-in and check-out outside reception hours, which made my stay more flexible. I also enjoyed the nearby Lehel Csarnok market, offering a wide variety of fresh food and drinks.
Shared power sockets and thin lockers were minor inconveniences. Awkward bathroom setup with limited stalls and a strange smell in the bedding made me uncomfortable.

For the price we paid, we got great value with comfortable mattresses, a fully equipped kitchen, and a location close to the metro station and within walking distance to the city center. The staff was very nice and despite some language barriers, they made our stay as pleasant as possible.
It would have been better if the hostel provided some basic breakfast items like coffee powder and sugar.

I loved the fact that I had to prepare my own meals in the shared kitchen, it was such a delightful experience! And the free WiFi in the public areas was just the cherry on top!
Oh, and let's not forget about the charming Ants Cafe in the kitchen, they were such great company while I was trying to cook!

The hostel's serene ambiance and garden made it a perfect spot for relaxation. I thoroughly enjoyed preparing my own meals in the shared kitchen and the wide range of amenities offered. The free WiFi was great, as long as you didn't mind standing in the public areas.
Who needs communication and timely responses from the hostel staff anyway? It's all about the anticipation of receiving the same spam messages multiple times and being ignored when you actually need information.

Great location, close to supermarkets and shops
Convenient hair dryer attached to the wall in the bathroom. Hostel is cheap and there is a shop right behind the corner
No windows in the room, making it very dark in the evenings. Poor condition of the bathrooms, with no toilet rolls provided for 2 days and general messiness.
